1. Introduction

Welcome to the Independent Music Performance Rights Association (IMPRA) Digital Portal. By accessing or using this portal to register, claim a profile, or declare your music catalog, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This platform facilitates the administration, collection, and distribution of needletime rights for our members.

2. Membership and Account Security

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and the accuracy of their submitted data. Any updates to Identity Documents (ID), banking details, or metadata must be accurate and legally binding.

3. Royalties and Distributions

IMPRA acts in good faith to distribute needletime rights royalties based on accurate catalog declarations. Payment schedules and calculations are governed by IMPRA's internal distribution policies and are subject to verification and auditing.

4. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

IMPRA is committed to addressing member grievances effectively. If you have a dispute regarding needletime rights collection, distribution, or portal operations, the following standard operating procedure applies to all members, legal representatives, and beneficiaries:

• Initial Review: The Management or Enquiry Office is the first point of contact for disputes. We will acknowledge written or formal oral complaints within 7 business days.
• Investigation & Timelines: We aim to investigate and resolve issues within 60 business days, providing updates at intervals no greater than 20 days.
• Outcome Notification: Within 5 business days of concluding the investigation, IMPRA will issue a written report of the outcome, including any settlement terms.
• Escalation: If a member remains dissatisfied, they may escalate the matter to the Complaints and Dispute Resolution Committee. Members must be aware that escalating to this Committee requires a willingness to contribute at least 50% of the legal fees incurred during the process.
• External Mediation: Members retain the right to utilize Copyright Tribunal dispute mechanisms if internal resolution fails.

5. Modifications

IMPRA reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service. Continued use of the portal after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
